Mozilla Summit 2010 - Primera entrega
El mozilla Summit 2010 se llevó a cabo en el mes de Julio, del 6 al 9 y tuvo lugar en Whistler, British Columbia, Canadá.
Fui invitada, así como otras 600 personas, entre colaboradores más activos y empleados de la empresa a participar en esta increíble reunión en donde se encontrarían diseñadores, programadores, localizadores, etc para reflexionar, pensar y planificar el futuro de la web.
Pudimos conocer el estado de los proyectos de la empresa, conocer (en mi caso) proyectos nuevos y poder intercambiar ideas, propuestas y charlas con gente de todo el mundo.
También pudimos disfrutar de la “Science fair” una feria en la que se expuso los proyectos más activos actualmente en Mozilla, con presentaciones y demos en vivo.
Junto con Pascal Finette (@pfinette) y Joao Menezes (@joaomenezes) presentamos los “Design Challenges”, desafíos de diseño que forman parte de Mozilla Labs. La audiencia se mostró interesada por este poco conocido proyecto y eso disparó varias ideas en sus propios proyectos.
También pudimos disfrutar de la World Expo, estands en los que cada representante exponía información sobre su país; costumbres, inventos, productos, vinos, etc.
